Antonia Gonzalez, 94, of El Ranchito, passed away Sunday, June 26, 2022. Antonia was born on October 25, 1927, to Lucinda Torres & Plácido Cantu in El Realito Tamaulipas. Antonia was preceded in death by her husband Roberto Gonzalez; mother, Lucinda Torres; father, Placido Cantu; sister, Guadalupe Cantu; brothers, Remigio Cantu; Roberto Cantu; and Jose Cantu. She is survived by her 2 children, Sylvia Gonzales and Noe Gonzalez; grandchildren, Nelda (Omar) Solorio, James (Maria) Gutiérrez, Cynthia (Ace) Leija, Virginia Gutierrez, Marie Gonzalez, Araceli Gonzalez, Noe (Venessa) Gonzalez Jr, Beatrice Gonzalez, Jessica Gonzalez; 23 great grandchildren and 23 great-great grandchildren. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 29, 2022, from 4:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with a Prayer Service at 8:00 p.m. at Thomae-Garza Funeral Home in San Benito, TX. A Chapel Service will be held Thursday, June 30, 2022, at 10:00 a.m. at Thomae-Garza Funeral Home with interment to follow at Garcia Cemetery in El Ranchito, TX.
