My sympathy to Jim's family, and especially Lettie. I attended St. Edward grade school and UHS with 'Jimmy' for 12 years and remember him fondly as a north side neighbor and friend with wonderful parents. We were all walking distance from each other in the old neighborhood and saw each other frequently at the North Side Pool on hot summer days.
I'll remember him fondly and hope your memories bring you comfort. Prayers are with his family!!!

Lettie you may not remember me but I remember you. I am Dee Ganofsky Horne. I worked with yours mom at City Hall. I really enjoyed working with and she shared many Lettie stories with me. She loved you so much. After I left city hall we kept in touch for a while I recall her telling me you had children. I was so surprised to see you had such a large family. Good for you! I am sorry for your loss. I lost my husband 10 years ago. I have a daughter and son who are very good to their now 80 year old mom. So sorry to hear of Jim’s death. He was always a faithful usher at Our Lady Star of the Sea .
