Concepcion V. Fonseca, 85, of San Benito, Texas passed away on Wednesday, June 8, 2022, surrounded by her loving family. Concepcion was born in Los Fresnos, Texas in 1937. She married Celestino Fonseca in 1962. Together, they had 4 wonderful children. She loved gardening, farm life, but most of all, her family. She loved to cook “menudo” and would always tell her friends and family that she would always be praying for them. She is preceded in death by her parents, Roberto and Josefina Vasquez and her 2 brothers, Timoteo Vasquez and Rogelio Vasquez. Left to cherish her memories are her husband, Celestino Fonseca; children, Benito Fonseca (Sylvia), Roberto Fonseca, Josefina F. Herevia (Jose), and Ruben Fonseca (Lupita), 1 sister, Genoveva Conde; grandchildren, Esteban Fonseca, Benito Fonseca, Zulema Fonseca, Stephanie Fonseca, Leslie Fonseca, Jose Herevia, Jasmine Herevia, Miguel Herevia, Ruben Fonseca Jr., and Samantha Fonseca. Visitation will be held on Monday, June 13, 2022, from 4:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with the recitation of the Holy Rosary at 7:00 p.m.at Thomae-Garza Funeral Home in San Benito, Texas. A Chapel Service will be held Tuesday June 14, 2022, at 10:00 a.m. at St. Vincent De Paul Catholic Church, 2513, E Brown Tract Rd, Lozano, TX. with interment to follow to Mont Meta Memorial Park.
