Sker was one of my oldest online friends, having met him way back in 2007 when we were both crewmembers in a charity guild on Gaia Online.
He was a witty son of a gun who shared the same sense of humor I had, and laughed at every birthday when instead of a typical happy birthday, I just screamed 'OOOOOOOOOOOOOOLD", and was just as enthusiastic as I was when it came to both fandoms we shared and ones we didn't.
I am heartbroken to have found out only now that he had passed away. He was one of the first friends I really made online and even through month-long lapses in communication, anytime he popped up we'd pick up like no time had passed at all.
