Andres Troncoso, 83, entered into eternal rest on May 22, 2022, at his residence in Primera, TX, surrounded by his loving family. He was a man of many traits, he knew at a young age the meaning of hard labor. Working from dusk to dawn he emphasized to his children that hard work and perseverance will get you through life, because noting is given. He loved spending time with family especially with his grandkids and always giving each individual attention. He had a passion for gardening with a green thumb that anything he planted grew. He enjoyed the fruits of his labor, in full flower blossoms and vegetables from his garden. He was a past resident of Port Isabel, Texas. He is preceded in death by his parents, Eliseo and Sofia Troncoso; his siblings, Margarita Torres, Juvencio Troncoso, Maria Catalina Aguilera, Reyes Troncoso, Rosa Baldonado, and Eliza Infante; a grandchild, Armando Garza. He is survived by his spouse, Julia Garza; his children, Maria Socorro Troncoso, Odilon (Nora) Troncoso, Juan Carlos (Marislo) Troncoso, Humberto (Susana) Troncoso, Jose Guadalupe (Noemi) Troncoso, Maria De Lourdes (Jose Esteban) Avina, Raymundo (Janie) Garza Jr., Adan Jamie (Leticia) Garza, Gabriela Garza, Alberto (Christy) Garza; a sister, Maria Elena (Rolando) Rodriguez; brother, Manuel Delgado; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren,; nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held Wednesday, May 25, 2022, from 4 p.m., until 9 p.m., with the recitation of the holy rosary to begin at 7 p.m., at Thomae-Garza Funeral Home. Mass of Resurrection will be held at 11 a.m., Thursday, May 26, at Our Lady Star of The Sea, 705 S. Longoria St., Port Isabel, Texas. All services will conclude at the church, cremation to follow according to his wishes. Honored to be serving as Mr. Troncoso's pallbearers are Odie Troncoso, Juan Carlos Troncoso, Humberto Troncoso, Jose Guadalupe Troncoso, Joe Esteban Avina, and Jamie Garza. Second Pallbearers will be Jose Luis Troncoso, Valentin Balzaldua, Franciso Garza, Ramon Garza, Christopher Garza, Juan Andres Garza, and Enrique Gonzales.
