It was always a joy to see Mr. Burnias and Mrs. Burnias in the cafe, at the post office, or anywhere throughout Los Fresnos. It was a pleasure to visit with him and I will always be grateful for his charm, laughter, and questions regarding my oldest son in the US Navy. He always wanted to know where he was and how he was doing, and thanked me for his service. I in turn, would thank him for his. It is a great loss to our community to lose Mr. Burnias. He was a very funny person that brought laughter into our work life. I will remember him forever. May you Rest In Peace Merced.
