Sulema Garcia, 71, peacefully departed this life on May 14, 2022 in Sealy, Texas. Sulema was born June 14, 1950 in San Benito, Texas to Esperanza and Romeo Garcia Sr. She was a loving sister and loved everyone she was involved with. Sulema leaves her legacy of love and devotion in the hearts of her family, friends, community, and church. Sulema is preceded in death by her loving parents and great niece Ilynah Alonzo (daughter of Maricella). Left to cherish the memories of Sulema are her sisters, Ester Reinmund and husband Terry Reinmund, Celeste Garcia, Beatriz Loera and husband Victor Loera (children, Xavier and Ilsa); brothers, Romeo Garcia, Jr., wife Viola Garcia (children Monica, Victoria and son Santiago Romeo Garcia Martinez), Romeo III; Abel Garcia and wife Guadalupe Garcia (daughters, Amanda Garcia and husband Bryan Faul, Maricella Rodriguez and husband Rafael Rodriguez, and son Frankie Zuniga). The family extends special thanks to all who took part in Sulema’s life and for taking great care of our sister for many years during her fruitful life. She was an angel sent to us. Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 26, 2022 from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with a Holy Rosary at 7:00 p.m. at Thomae-Garza Funeral Home in San Benito, Texas.
