Rosario “Chayo” V. Mora, of Port Isabel, TX, passed away Saturday, May 14, 2022 surrounded by her loving family in Port Isabel, TX. Rosario is preceded in death by her grandson, Juan Jose Mora IV; parents, Alberto and Francisca Villarreal; 1 sister, Anna Elizabeth Villarreal and 1 brother Alberto “Vetin” Villarreal. She is survived by her loving husband of 50 years, Juan Jose Mora, Jr.; 2 sons, Juan Jose “J.J.” Mora III and Armando Alberto (Diana) Mora; 1 daughter, Elizabeth “Jenny” Villarreal; 8 grandchildren, Michael J. Mora, Brianna Valerie Mora, Alicia Nike Mora, Natalie Ivonne Mora, Larissa Nicole Mora, Ayden Justice Mora, Madison Lynnea Maldonado, and Kazmian Noah Villarreal; 1 step-granddaughter, Stphany Montoya; 8 siblings, Maria De La Luz (Juan) Salazar, Erma (Gilbert) Munoz, Raul Villarreal, Virginia Olivarez, Guadalupe Patricia "Betty" (Luciano) Sanchez, Lourdes Alicia (Mike) Sachtleben, Juan Martin "Johnny" (Daisy) Villarreal and Francis Janie (Alejandro, Jr.) Gaytan; several nephews, nieces and other relatives. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, May 17, 2022 from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with a Prayer Service at 7:00 p.m. at Thomae-Garza Funeral Home in San Benito, Texas. Funeral Service will be held Wednesday, May 18, 2022 at 10:00 a.m. at Lighthouse Assembly of God, 110 Port Rd, Port Isabel, TX with cremation to follow in accordance to her wishes.
