Thelma Teran Bright of Spring, TX passed away Tuesday, May 10, 2022 at Valley Baptist Medical Center in Harlingen, TX.
She was born in Harlingen, TX to Guadalupe and Maria Virginia Teran. She was a graduate of Rio Hondo High School and served in the U.S. Army. She later resided in the Houston area for most of her life.
Thelma is preceded in death by her parents, Guadalupe and Maria Virginia Teran; eldest brother, Ricardo Teran; and nephew, Conrado Escobar, Jr.
Left to cherish her memory are her husband, Christopher J. Bright; children, Jacques, Xavier (Aime), Angelique (Davion Spears), and 1 grandson on the way; brothers, Rene and Guadalupe Teran, Jr.; sister, Raquel Teran, Connie Castro, Virginia de la Garza, Hilaria Barrientos and Leticia Dornak.
Family will have a private memorial service at a later date.
