Milan L. Miller, 92, passed away on September 5, 2012 in Harlingen, Texas.
Milan was born on April 20, 1920 in Sauk City, Wisconsin to the late Albert Miller and Bertha Campbell. He served as a Tech Sergeant in the U.S. Army during World War II in Germany and Berlin. He then married Georgia L. Keyes on May 5, 1944. He was employed with Western Electric for 44 years and then later with AT&T. He was a member of VFW, American Legion, and 1st United Methodist Church in La Feria.
He is survived by his wife, Georgia L. Miller; children: Roger (Ellen), Charmane Eckert, and Glen (Rita); four grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held at 2:00 pm on Saturday, September 22, 2012 at Golden Palms Retirement and Health Center, 2101 Treasure Hills Blvd, Harlingen, Texas in the Texas Room. Military Honors will be conducted by American Legion Post 43 of Brownsville, Texas.
