Our beloved mother and grandmother entered into eternal rest on Thursday, March 24, 2022 at the age of 85.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Gulmaro Ortiz and son, Gumaro Ortiz, Jr.
Left to cherish her memory are her sons, Juan (Angie) Ortiz, Dr. Artemio (Shauna) Ortiz, Alejandro (Socorro) Ortiz and her daughters, Dora (Martin) Ortiz-Escribano, Alma Ortiz, and Andrea Carrizales. Also left to cherish her memory are her 11 grandkids and numerous great grandkids.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, March 29, 2022 from 4:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with a Rosary at 7:00 p.m. at Thomae-Garza Funeral Home in San Benito, Texas, with cremation to follow in accordance to her wishes.
All individuals attending services are encouraged to socially distance and wear face covers or masks.
