On March 11, 2022 our beloved mother, Natividad Hernandez, 80, of San Benito, Texas, entered into eternal rest. She is preceded in death by her beloved husband Raul Hernandez and her daughter Cristina Hernandez. She leaves behind her sisters, Juana (Gregorio) Ruiz and Carlota (Pedro) Juarez; her loving children, Raul Jr. (Veronica) Hernandez, Diana (Ramiro) Delgado, Olga (John) Alvarado and John (Cristina) Alvarado; as well as many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and extended family. We were all entrusted to her in life and now we entrust her soul to the endless mercy of Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. As we carry our mother, sister, aunt, grandmother, great grandmother to her final resting place, we ask God to give us the wisdom and understanding to carry on in His Divine and perfect plan for each and every one of us. Natividad’s family will receive relatives and friends on Thursday, March 17, 2022 from 5:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m. at Thomae-Garza Funeral Home in San Benito, TX. A recitation of the Holy Rosary will be held at 7:00 pm. A Funeral Mass will be held Friday, March 18 2022 at 1:00 p.m. at St. Benedict Catholic Church Tentatively, 351 S. Bowie St., San Benito, TX with interment to follow to Mont Meta Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be her beloved grandchildren: John Alvarado Jr., Oscar R. Quezada, Julio Cesar Alvarado, Roger Quezada, Raul Alvarado, Michael Alvarado, Nicolas Quezada and Eric Daniel Quezada as well as honorary pall bearer Jose Luis Juarez. All individuals attending Natividad’s services are encouraged to socially distance and wear face covers or masks.
