Arturo R. Hinojosa, 53, went with the Lord and his mother at Valley Baptist Medical Center on Thursday February 17, 2022. Arturo was born on December 15, 1968 to his parents Rogelio and Amelia Hinojosa of Mexico. He grew up in Harlingen, where he spent most of his life enjoying what he loved to do. He loved to travel everywhere. He enjoyed fishing, his collections of old cars, and tigers. He was a loving and caring son, brother, father, grandfather, and friend. He will be dearly missed by us all. He will forever live within our hearts and we will always love and cherish the precious moments that we shared with him. May he now rest in peace. He is preceded in death by his mother, Amelia Hinojosa. He is survived by his children, Arthur Hinojosa Jr. (Nicole), Rosemary Hinojosa, Rudy Hinojosa (Olga Martinez); father, Rogelio Hinojosa; siblings, Gloria Hinojosa, Rogelio Hinojosa, Alma Hinojosa, Armando Hinojosa, Elisa Hinojosa, and Enrique Hinojosa; grandchildren, Alejandra Hinojosa, Albert Hinojosa, Alexis Hinojosa, Allison Hinojosa, Ace Hinojosa, Aubrey Gonzalez, Anthony Gonzalez, Domani Quiroz, Mercedes Quiroz, Martin Castro, Jovanni Castro, Sophia Hinojosa, and Isabella Hinojosa, Aaron Galvan, Ethan Nino, Journey Galvan, Paul Daniel Galvan. Visitation will be held Tuesday, March 1, 2022 from 4:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with the recitation of the Holy Rosary at 7:00 p.m. at Thomae-Garza Funeral Home in San Benito, TX. Chapel Service will be held Wednesday, March 2, 2022 at 10:00 a.m. at Thomae-Garza Funeral Home and Crematorium in San Benito, TX with interment to follow to Las Rucias Cemetery off of Rangerville Rd and Military Hwy 281. All individuals are encouraged to follow CDC guidelines by socially distancing a minimum space of 6 feet apart and face covers or masks are recommended.
