Raquel Ysasi Medina,84, of La Paloma TX, went to be with our Lord on February 4, 2022, at her residence, surrounded by loving family. She is preceded in death by her loving parents, Samuel and Hermelinda Ysasi, along with sons; Ismael and Elifonso Medina, her siblings, Rafael Ysasi, and Elifonso Ysasi, and a grandson Francisco Montalvo Jr. Left to cherish her memory is her loving husband; Gregorio, along with her children; Maria Idalia (+Ramiro) Hernandez, Elida (Jesus)Vasquez, Gregorio Jr., Esmeralda Gonzalez, Raquel (Leo) De La Cruz, Elena (Francisco) Montalvo, including her siblings Juanita Urbina and Samuel Ysasi Jr. and Delia Abrego: including 17 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren. Visitation will be held on Thursday, February, 10, 2022, from 5 pm to 9 pm, with a Recitation of the Holy Rosary to be held at 7 pm. A Funeral Service will be held on Friday, February 11, 2022 at 10 am at Thomae Garza Funeral Home in San Benito, Services will conclude at the end of the service. All individuals are encouraged to follow CDC guidelines by socially distancing a minimum space of 6 feet apart and must wear face covers or masks.
