Margarita P. Silva, 71, of Los Fresnos, TX passed away on Monday, January 24, 2022 at Valley Baptist Medical Center in Harlingen, TX. Margarita was born to Anastacio Puente and Lucia Salinas in Sebastian, Texas. She was preceded in death by her husband, Roberto Silva, Sr. Left to cherish her memory are her children, Basilia Silva, Pablo (Melissa) Silva, Celia (Pedro) Loera, Rogelio Silva, Stacey (Oscar) Hernandez, Rebecca (Victor) Silva, Rene (Diana) Silva, Linda (Gilberto) Castillo, Roberto Silva, Jr.; siblings, Eloisa Garza, Maria Soto, Martin Puente, Jose Puente, 26 Grandchildren, and 16 great-grandchildren. Visitation will be held on Friday, January 28, 2022 from 4:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with the recitation of the Holy Rosary at 7:00 p.m. at Thomae-Garza Funeral Home in San Benito, Texas. A Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, January 29, 2022 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Cecilia Catholic Church, 606 W Ocean Blvd, Los Fresnos, TX. with interment to follow to Los Cuates Cemetery. Honored to serve as pallbearers are Brandon Loera, Peter Loera, Jonah Canales Jr, J.P. Silva, Francisco Garcia, and Francisco Hernandez.
