SAN BENITO - Manuel Ramos, Jr. 67 of San Benito, Texas passed away on April 14, 2007 at The Good Samaritan Nursing Home in Harlingen, Texas. Mr. Ramos was born on October 29, 1939 in Los Fresnos, Texas to Manuel G. and Angelita G. Ramos. Mr. Ramos was a member of Faith Pleases God Church in Harlingen, Texas. He is survived by the following: his wife; Hortencia Ramos of San Benito, 4 daughters; Rosalinda (Albert) Mosqueda of San Benito, Rosalva (Gilbert) Salazar of Rio Hondo, Graciela (Robert) Ramos of Richardson, Texas, Nora Elia (Jose) Guerra of San Benito. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren; Andrea Mosqueda, Monica Mosqueda, Valerie Salazar, Gilbert Salazar, Robert Diaz, III, Amanda Guerra, Jennifer Guerra, and Jose Guerra, Jr. 3 sisters; Cristina Diaz, Benita Galvan, and Juanita Leyva. Brother; Ruben Ramos, numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by ; father, Manuel G. Ramos, Mother; Angelita Ramos, Son; Manuel Ramos, III, Brothers; Guadalupe Ramos, and Nazario Ramos, and a sister; Ramona Ramos. Viewing will begin as of 3 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Monday, with a Prayer Service at 7 p.m. at 7 p.m. in the South Chapel. Viewing will resume as of 8 a.m. on Tuesday, with a 2 p.m. Chapel Service with Chaplain Joe Jaime officiating. Interment will follow to Mont-Meta Memorial Park in San Benito, Texas. His pallbearers will be: Gilbert Salazar, Jr., Robert Diaz, Jr., Jose Guerra, Gilbert Salazar, Jose Guerra, Jr., and Robert Diaz, III.
