Candelario "Cande" Mota, 87, of Laguna Heights, Texas, passed away on August 23, 2012 in Port Isabel, Texas.
He is preceded in death by his parents: Margarito and Concepcion B. Mota; and his brother, Pedro Mota.
He is survived by his wife, Ascencion Gallegos-Mota; three daughters: Janie Mota, Petra Orta, and Maria Elena Martinez; and one son, Mark Mota. He is also survived by eleven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, August 24, 2012 from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm, with a holy rosary at 7:00 pm, at Our Lady Star of the Sea Catholic Church located on 705 S. Longoria St. In Port Isabel.
Mass of Resurrection will be held on Saturday, August 25, 2012 at 10:00 am at Our Lady Star of the Sea Catholic Church, and committal service will follow at Port Isabel City Cemetery.
