Juanita Rios, 81, of San Benito, went to be with our Lord, on January 1, 2022, at Harlingen Nursing and Rehab. She is preceded in death by her parents; Juan Hernandez, and Maria Garcia, along with her son, Jose Rios, first husband, Benito Rios and late husband, Jose Ramirez. Left to cherish her memory is her son, Juan Rios, daughter Paulita Rios, siblings; Teresa, Matias, Manuel, Isabel, Antonio, Amelia and Yolanda. Also surviving are her grandchildren, Gabriela Pena, Meredith Garcia, Mia Perez, Raven Rios, and Jose Rios Jr., along with great grandchildren; Aubrey Rodriguez, Luke Rodriguez, and David Pena. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, January, 5, 2021 from 5-9 pm, at Thomae Garza Funeral Home in San Benito, with a recitation of the Holy Rosary to be held at 7:00 pm. Services will conclude at the end of the evening. All individuals are encouraged to follow CDC guidelines by socially distancing a minimum space of 6 feet apart and must wear face covers or masks.
