Francisca C. Hernandez, 75, of San Benito, Texas passed away on Sunday, December 26, 2021. Francisca C. Hernandez, was born on February 1, 1946 in Weslaco Texas to her parents Mauricio Chavez and Guadalupe Chavez. Francisca was married to Antonio A. Hernandez (+) for 56 years and they resided in San Benito, Texas. They had 6 loving children. She enjoyed gardening and tending to her flowers. She loved her cats, and she enjoyed going out to eat. She had a “wall of fame” full of family photos and if you weren’t on there; you weren’t famous. She also attended Mission Cristo Viene Church in San Benito and on her spare time she would read her Bible. She will be dearly missed. She is preceded in death by her husband; Antonio A. Hernandez and granddaughter; April H. Reyna. Left to cherish her memories are Ida Mendoza (Manolo Mendoza), Martin Hernandez (Hortensia Hernandez +), Ramon Hernandez (Marviela Hernandez), Sandra Leal (Raul Leal), Patricia Martinez (Arturo Martinez), Antonio A. Hernandez, Jr., siblings; Guadalupe Villarreal, Josefina Blanco, Ricardo Chavez, 18 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren, numerous nephews and nieces. Visitation will be held Monday, January 3, 2022 from 4:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with a Prayer Service at 7:00 p.m. at Thomae-Garza Funeral Home in San Benito, Texas. Chapel Service will be held Tuesday, January 4, 2022 at 10:00 a.m. at Thomae-Garza Funeral Home with interment to follow to La Paloma Cemetery.
