Robert “Bobby” Trejo, 69, of Harlingen TX, passed on Friday, December 17, 2021. Robert Trejo was born on September 19, 1952 to his loving parents; Raquel and Apolonio Trejo. Raquel and Apolonio shared 4 son’s Robert, David, Danny, and Sam, and 2 daughters Linda and Trisha. Robert leaves behind his wife Sylvia Trejo, his son Alfredo Trejo, his grandson’s Nazyah and Tino Trejo, his loving sister’s and brother’s Linda, Trisha, David, and Danny. Bobby was a 1971 graduate of Harlingen High School. He went on to serve his country in the United States Army. Bobby said his favorite place that he got to see in all his deployments’ was Germany. Bobby went on to work at Lack’s where he met his wife Sylvia. Bobby and Sylvia got married on August 17, 1976. They shared a love of a lifetime for 45 years. Bobby and Sylvia loved to dance, play games with family and friends, and travel. Later, Bobby got a job with the State of Texas where he retired. Bobby and Sylvia had one son Alfredo Trejo. Bobby was a dedicated loving father. Bobby loved Alfredo to the moon and back. He stopped at nothing to give Alfredo the world. Alfredo will always remember his warm gentle bear hugs his father gave him. In 2010 Bobby was blessed with his grandson Tino. Tino and Bobby had a relationship that was an instant connection; from the minute he held him in his arms. Bobby’s love for Tino again would stop at nothing to make his grandson happy. Bobby loved riding his motorcycle, watching College Football, and was a huge Dallas Cowboys Fan, and he enjoyed having cookouts in his backyard for family. Bobby will be missed dearly, with all our love Dad; Rest In Peace.
