Martha Manrrique, 66, of Harlingen passed away Sunday, December 19, 2021 at Valley Baptist Medical Center in Harlingen, Texas. Martha was born in Los Fresnos to David & Adela Manrrique on December 1, 1955. She attended and graduated from Harlingen High School. She attended night school at Alvin Community College where she received her CNA certification and worked as a CNA throughout many hospitals and clinics. She was a member and church band drummer for the Gospel Tabernacle Church in Sebastian, TX. She was a huge fan of the Dallas Cowboys. Martha is preceded in death by her father, David Manrrique, grandparents, Florentino and Tiodosa Manrrique, Luciana and Librada De Leon. Left to cherish Martha’s memories are her loving son, Jonathan Marchan, daughter in law, Miriam Marchan. Grandchildren Vivian and Sebastian. Mother Adela Deming. Brothers, Elias Manrrique, Moises Manrrique and Danny Manrrique. Sisters, Lidia Jijon, Sylvia Del Campo. Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 30, 2021 from 4-9pm public at Thomae-Garza Funeral Home in San Benito, Texas. A chapel service will be held on Friday 31, 2021 to begin at 10am at Thomae-Garza with a graveside service at Las Yescas Cemetery Rio Hondo. Honored to serve as pallbearers are Moises Manrrique, Robert Del Campo Sr, Isaias De Leon, Danny Manrrique, Jesus Jijon and Jonathan Marchan.
