Petra Dominguez, 82, of Port Isabel, Texas, entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, December 8, 2021. Petra was preceded in death by her parents Jose Asencion and Maria De Jesus; 1 sister, Blanca Santos and 1 brother, Mario Carrillo. Left to cherish her memory are her loving husband of 54 years, Dolores Cirilo "Gorupo" Dominguez; children, Sergio (Dora) Carrillo, Noelia (Alex) Zamora, Sandra Moctezuma, Anna Ramirez and Luis Albert (Lorena) Dominguez; her siblings, Jose A. “Chon” Carrillo, Jose Luis (Juana) Carrillo, Angelina (Humberto) Martinez, Armida (Reynaldo) Miranda and Victor (Lourdes) Carrillo; 13 grandchildren, Sergio (Aleisha) Carrillo, Julio (Sandra) Carrillo, Andres Zamora, Mario (Vanessa) Cordova, Saory Moctezuma, Hector Moctezuma, Natasha (Charlie) Vazquez, Natanya Ramirez, Mikey Ramirez, Meghan Dominguez, Edith Dominguez, Emiliano Dominguez and Elani Dominguez; 3 great-grandchildren, Isaiah Cordova, Elaria Carrillo and Ariella Carrillo. Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 16, 2021, from 5:00 p.m. till 9:00 p.m., with the recitation of the holy rosary to begin at 7:00 p.m., at Thomae-Garza Funeral Home in San Benito, Texas. Mass of Resurrection will be held at 11:00 a.m., Friday, December 17, at Our Lady Star of the Sea Catholic Church, 705 S. Longoria St., Port Isabel, TX with cremation to follow in according to her wishes. Honored to serve as pallbearers are Mario Cordova, Julio Carrillo, Sergio Carrillo, Andres Zamora, Hector Moctezuma, Angel Carrillo, Nicolas Carrillo and Larry Hernandez.
