Gerardo Sanchez, 55, of San Benito, entered into eternal rest on November 19, 2021. Gerado was born in Harlingen, TX, on April 23, 1966, to Estanislado and Mariana Sanchez. He attended San Benito High School. He was a welder and loved the outdoors. He spent time fishing and hunting, and enjoyed spending time with his friends. He loved to sing and hear Spanish music. He was preceded in death by his brother, Felipe Sanchez. Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Raquel R. Sanchez; daughter, Christina Sanchez, son, Jeremy Sanchez; his siblings, Ricardo Sanchez, Alberto Sanchez, Cristina Sanchez and Ana Sanchez; 9 grandchildren, Andrew, Haley, Carlos, Adrian , Karolynna, Christian, Kristabelle, Jazlyn and Emma. Visitation will be held on November 29, 2021, from 5 p.m., until 9 p.m., with the recitation of the holy rosary to begin at 7 p.m., at Thomae-Garza Funeral Home. Mass of Resurrection will be held at 2 p.m., November 30, at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church in La Paloma.
