Aaron Barron Garcia, 70, of Rio Hondo, went to be with the Lord on September 28, 2021 at Valley Baptist Medical Center in Harlingen. He is preceded in death by his wife Maria Elena Barron Mendoza. Left to cherish his memory is his wife Adelina Ferretiz, his children; Jose Benito ( Ana Esthela) Barron, Dalia Lizette Barron, Christian Barron, and Maria de Jesus Barron. Also surviving are his siblings; Rosario Barron, Norma Barron, along with 9 grandchildren, 6 great-grand- children, and many other family members. Visitation will be held on Friday, October 8, 2021, from 5 pm to 9 pm with a prayer service to be held at 7 pm. A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, October 9, 2021, at 10 am at Thomae Garza Funeral Home, with burial to follow to Rio Hondo City Cemetery. All individuals are encouraged to follow CDC guidelines by socially distancing a minimum space of 6 feet apart and must wear face covers or masks.
