Cindy, so sad to hear the news but also a time to reflect on the years that we shared a friendship. I can remember you reading a report in front of the class in second grade. That is a long time ago but I can see it clearly. You were wearing a pink sweater. I am glad and proud to say that we had a friendship because it did matter to me even though it had been a while since we communicated. God is rejoicing since he welcomed you into his arms. May you always send your guiding love to all your family members and may you keep them all in your loving and protecting arms for the rest of their years here on earth. My Dear friend Cindy, You will be greatly missed. I m great fuel to have had the opportunity to see you again after all these years! Thank you for accepting ni helping the troubled kid I was at one time. You were the there for me, you gave me guidance and love when I felt alone. Thank you for always being you! I remember the times you took us on picnics and to the Zoo! The days I would spend time in your home with Jen and Ryan! Growing up and just being kids. Thank you for those memories you left me. Your sudden death has shocked us immeasurably. The loss to your children, grandchildren, sister and other family members is unimaginable. I am saddened by the loss of childhood memories that were such a source of laughter whenever we had occasion to visit, which were fewer and fewer with the passing of time. My dear friend Cindy....This picture of you is the loving face I saw each time we came together! I am grateful to have had you in my life for so many, many years! I have Ruben Montalvo to thank for our friendship; that is how it all began! I would come and stay with you and the kids during hunting season and the guys were off doing their thing! We had so much fun together. The kids were so young back then! I have such fond memories of us sharing stories and making life long memories! You have left us because our dear God had work for you do....I know you are rejoicing in Heaven reunited with your Dad and your sweet Mom! I texted this dear lady on her birthday to catch up with her. Never did I realize the message that I would receive this afternoon. Cindy and I were colleagues, friends, and confidantes. She was as tough and stubborn as she was soft-hearted and loving. She lived simply and struggled, but her attention was always on others. Cindy, you were always yourself. Whether you spoke your mind or had a good hearty laugh with us, we loved you for everything you represented. You, my dear friend, will be a challenge with which to reckon, but God has chosen well. Even though I haven’t seen you in over 25 years my daughter and I still have fond memories of your helpful assistance when we showed up at our old Jr. High and you helped us gain entry so she could walk the Same halls where fond memories were made.
