Eduardo Martinez III, 8, of Harlingen, Texas, went to be with God on July 10, 2012.
He is preceded in death by his paternal grandmother Elva Martinez; maternal grandmother Maria Del Carmen Perez; and great-grandmother Manuela Vasquez.
He is survived by his parents, Eduardo Martinez Jr and Maria Perez; two sisters, Mya Martinez and Leila Del Carmen Martinez; paternal grandfather Eduardo Martinez Sr; maternal grandfather Juan Perez; maternal uncles and aunt; Raul Perez, Estevan Perez, Ricardo Perez, and Cristina Perez; paternal aunts: Janie Martinez, Vicky Martinez, Liz Martinez, Elva Martinez, and Manuela Martinez; and other relatives.
Mass of Resurrection will be held at 10:00 am on Friday, July 13, 2012 at St. Benedict Catholic Church in San Benito.
Visitation will begin after mass from 1:00 pm to 9:00 pm, with a holy rosary at 7:00 pm, at Thomae-Garza Funeral Home. Cremation will follow services.
