Maria Guadalupe Garcia, 91, of Los Fresnos, Texas passed away June, 7, 2021. It is with profound sadness that the family of Maria Garcia announce her peaceful passing. Maria lived her life devoted to others and loved her family like no other. She is preceded in death by her husband: Damaso "Victor"; parents: Manuel and Florencia Betancourt; two brothers: Manuel and Juan Betancourt; and two sisters: Concepcion and Juanita Betancourt. Left to cherish her memories is her daughter: Mayra Espinoza and husband Santana Espinoza; grandchildren: Santana Espinoza and Isabel Espinoza; and numerous nieces and nephews; grandchildren: Santana Espinoza and Isabel Espinoza. Visitation will be held Monday, June 14, 2021 from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with a rosary at 6:00 p.m. at Thomae-Garza Funeral Home in San Benito. Funeral Mass will be held Tuesday, June 15, 2021 at 10:00 am at St. Cecilia Catholic Church in Los Fresnos, with interment to follow at Los Cuates Cemetery in Los Fresnos.
