Roberto “Boy” C. Rivera, Jr., 65, of Port Isabel, Texas passed away on June 7, 2021. He is preceded on death by his sister: Maria Estrella Rivera. Left to cherish his memories are his children: Robert (Ana Padilla) Rivera III, Laura Rivera, Jaime Rivera, Selina Rivera (La Tisha) and Ariel Solis, 9 grandchildren, 1 great-granddaughter, parents: Robert Sr. and Cresencia “Coca” Rivera, 1 sister: Janie (Richard) Zamora, 2 brothers: Jesus Moe (Alicia De La Garza) Rivera and Johnny Rivera and Mother of his children: Maria Concepcion Rivera; several nephews and nieces. Visitation will be held Thursday, June 10, 2021 from 3:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. with a rosary at 7:00 p.m. at Thomae-Garza Funeral Home in San Benito. A funeral mass will be held Friday, June 11, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. at Our Lady Star of the Sea Catholic Church, 705 S Longoria St, Port Isabel, TX with cremation to follow according to his wishes.
