Byron August Samuelson, Jr., 93, of Rancho Viejo, Texas passed away Sunday, June 6, 2021. Byron was born and raised in Seattle, Washington. He served in the US Army (Japan) WWII. He began his career in law in Washington DC with Interstate Commerce Commission after graduating from University of Washington School of Law in 1952. He worked for Social Security Administration as Administrative Law Judge in Seattle, WA and St. Louis, MO from 1965 until retirement. He moved to Brownsville, Texas where daughter and grandchildren resided in 2003. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him. He is preceded in death by his parents: Byron A. Samuelson, Mayme Samuelson, and brother: Ralph Emerson Samuelson. Left to cherish his memories are his wife: Diane G. Samuelson, children: Eric Byron (Sarah) Samuelson and Sally (Enrique) Samuelson Sandoval, grandchildren: Mike Trenfield, Steve Trenfield, step-granddaughters: Ana Maria (Gerardo) Cantu, Ana Luisa (Jesus) Zamudio, step-great grandchildren: Belinda Antonia Cantu, Tucker Kash Zamudio, Issei Beorn Zamudio, and cousins, nephews, and nieces.
