Obituary of Reynaldo Reyes Lopez

Reynaldo Reyes Lopez, 71, of Port Isabel, TX. Passed away on May 25, 2021 in Brownsville, TX. Rey was born in Port Isabel, TX to Paula Reyes Lopez and Jose Benavides Lopez on April 1, 1950. He was a very active member at his church. He loved to fish in his beloved Bay and not a day would go by that he was not out on that bay fishing, fixing his boat or offering help to those in need. Rey is preceded in death by his mother Paula Reyes Lopez, his Father, Jose Benavides Lopez, his brother Felipe Reyes Lopez and his sister Manuela Roux. Rey is survived by his Brothers and sisters; Jose Reyes Lopez Jr. (Medalia), Noe Reyes Lopez, (Anna), Lilliana Garcia and Cynthia Vielma (Jesse) and various nieces and nephews. Rey was an amazing son, brother, uncle, and didn’t hesitate to step in to father to those who needed one. He was active in his church and was well known throughout Port Isabel as Brother Rey. He will be greatly missed by his family and the community at large. We pray for you to Rest in Peace and walk on those streets of Gold. This family has receive another Angel to watch over all of us.
