Rene Barrera, 44, of Los Indios, Texas, entered into eternal rest on May 20, 2021, in Edinburg, Texas.
Rene worked as a truck driver, he enjoyed getting to see different beautiful sceneries on the road. He also enjoyed family get togethers, barbecues, and spending time with family at the beach.
He is preceded in death by his father Rito Barrera Jr..
He is survived by his true love his wife, Esmeralda Barrera; his mother, Mary Barrera; daughter, Eliana Barrera; stepdaughter, Evany Romero; and sisters, Mariselda Barrera Rodriguez, Melinda Barrera; brother, Ricky Barrrera; and a nephew, Rolando Rodriguez, Jr.
Services will be held at a later date.
He will greatly be missed.
