Scott Harold Pokrass, 52, of Rancho Viejo passed away on Friday May 14, 2021 surrounded by his loving family. He is preceded in death by his father Michael Allen Pokrass. He is survived by his mother Sue Pokrass, daughter: Skylar Pokrass, sisters: Vikki Stuart and Michelle Stone, brother-in-law: Jim Stuart, niece: Brie Jewell, and nephews: Justin and Jeremy Katusak. Scott was listening to his favorite music and was completely free of pain when he decided to cast off one final time. Everyone’s kind words, good JuJu, prayers, and memories made all the difference these past few days and hours. We wanted to make sure all of you knew that. We also wanted to reassure everyone that all messages, hugs, and kisses were passed along to Scott on everyone’s behalf. It was those sentiments and good music in the background that were heard as Scott sailed off one final time. As I’m sure none of you would expect anything less, Scott wanted you all to know that he has officially “Gone Fishing”. A Celebration of Life will be held July 24, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. at Jake’s on South Padre Island.
