Patricia Lopez (Pat), 55 years old of San Benito, TX, passed away on May 9, 2021.
Patricia was born in San Benito, TX to Januario and Eduvijes “Vicky” Alvarado on March 2, 1966.
Patricia was such a strong loving, caring mother, wife, grandmother, daughter, and friend. Patricia would go above and beyond for anyone she could possibly help if needed. She will be dearly missed by many.
Patricia is preceded in death by her father, Januario Alvarado, as well as her brothers Arnulfo Alvarado, Juan Cruz Alvarado, and Andres Alvarado.
Patricia is survived by her loving husband of 35 years, Juan A. Lopez Sr.; her three sons Juan A. Lopez Jr. (Josephine), Adrian Lopez, Efrain Lopez; as well as her only daughter Cecilia M. Lopez. Patricia is also survived by her siblings; Steve Alvarado, Isabella Alvarado, Jesus Alvarado, Blanca E. Alvarez (Jesus), and Tomas A. Alvarado. Patricia had four grandchild who meant the absolute world to her; Jacob Anthony Lopez, Joshua Alex Lopez, Hailey Jay Lopez, and Joseph Abram Lopez. As well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday May 12, 2021 from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with a holy rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. at Thomae-Garza Funeral Home in San Benito, Texas, visitation will continue on Thursday May 13, 2021 from 10:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. with a holy rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. at Thomae-Garza Funeral Home. Funeral Mass will be held Friday May 14, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Theresa Catholic Church in San Benito, TX with interment to follow at San Benito Memorial Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Juan A. Lopez Jr., Adrian Lopez, Efrain Lopez, Tomas Alvarado, Jonathan Sandoval, and Michael Fernandez.
All individuals are encouraged to follow CDC guidelines by socially distancing a minimum space of 6 feet apart and must wear face covers or masks.
