Eliseo “Eli” Rene Saldivar 15, of San Benito was called home by our Lord on April 08, 2021. He was born in Harlingen, Texas on April 20, 2005 to Ernesto Saldivar and Janie Perez. Eli was in 10th grade at San Benito High School. He loved listening to music, drawing and spending time with his family and friends. He was the life of the party. He loved to entertain and make everyone laugh. It was never a dull moment when he was present. He was so full of life; anyone who came across him felt his heartfelt, kind and humorous soul that we will forever cherish. He will always be remembered as a loving, caring, and sincere son, brother, uncle, boyfriend, nephew, and cousin. His hustle and motivation will never be forgotten. Forever in our hearts 38 baby. Those we love don’t go away, they walk beside us every day. Unseen, unheard, but always near, so loved, so missed, so very dear. He is preceded in death by his grandparents: Ramiro Saldivar, Hermiña Saldivar, Gabriela Perez, and Uncle Armando Saldivar. Visitation will be held on Monday April 19, 2021 from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm with a holy rosary to be recited at 7:00 pm at Thomae-Garza Funeral Home, 395 S. Sam Houston, in San Benito, Texas. A graveside service will be held at 2:00 pm on Tuesday April 20, 2021 at Las Rucias Cemetery.
