Francisco S. González, 86, of San Benito, Texas, entered into eternal rest on June 30, 2012. Francisco was born in Rancho "El Capote" Municipio Matamoros, Tamaulipas on October 10, 1925 and resided in San Benito, Texas for most of his life. He was a hard working, loving father and will be missed dearly. He was preceded in death by his parents, Segundo and Antonia González; wife Rosa L. Gonzalez; brothers: Rosendo González, Roberto González, and Eloy González; and sisters Petra G. Vento and Josefa G. Farías. Surviving him are his son, Juan Antonio (Yolanda) González; daughter, Gracie G. (Joe) Cavazos; and six grandchildren: Leticia González, Juan Antonio (Nydia) González Jr., Jennifer González, Rolando (Sandra) Cavazos, Roel (Janie) Cavazos, and Jo Ann Cavazos. He is also survived by six great-grandchildren, his sister, Elisa G. Puente, and numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held on Monday, July 2, 2012 from 10:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m., with a holy rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m., at Thomae-Garza Funeral Home in San Benito. Mass of Resurrection will be held on Tuesday, July 3, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Benedict Catholic Church in San Benito. Committal service will follow to Raymondville Memorial Park Cemetery in Raymondville, Texas. Serving as pallbearers are Rolando Cavazos, Roel Cavazos, Juan Antonio González Jr., Reynaldo González Jr, Rogelio González, and Raul González.
