Antonio Resendez, 73, of San Benito, went to be with our Lord, on April 7, 2021, at Harlingen Medical Center. He is preceded in death by his parents, Luciano and Anita Resendez, and his siblings, Luciano Jr., Roberto, Jose Abel, Narciso, Ramiro, Pedro, Rosa Resendez, and Consuelo Domansky. Left to cherish his memory is his brother, Rodolfo Resendez, Ricardo and Eduardo Resendez. Also surviving is his niece, Florinda Mares and numerous other family members. Visitation will be held on Monday, April 12, 2021, from 5pm to 9pm at Thomae Garza Funeral Home in San Benito, with a recitation of the Holy Rosary to be held at 7pm. A Funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, April 10, 2021, at 2pm at St. Benedict’s Catholic Church in San Benito. Interment will follow to San Benito Memorial Park. Due to the ongoing COVID-19 virus, all individuals are encouraged to follow CDC guidelines by socially distancing a minimum space of 6 feet apart and must wear face covers or masks.
