Julio Mendoza, 56, of Port Isabel, Texas, entered into eternal rest on April 5, 2021, at Valley Baptist Medical Center. Julio was preceded in death by his father, Julio Mendoza; maternal grandparents, Manuela and Victor Alvarado; and by his paternal grandparents, Abdias and Catalina Mendoza. Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Griselda Molina; children, Juan Antonio, Manuela, Connie, Christian, Paola, Johnathan, Angie, Julio, Griselda and Francisco; mother, Manuela Alvarado Mendoza; siblings, Abdias Mendoza, Eladio Mendoza, Victor Mendoza, Catalina Mendoza, Benito Mendoza, Martha Mendoza, Jose Mendoza, Guadalupe Mendoza, and Jose Benito Mendoza; grandchildren, Estrella Marie (Connie) Alonzo and Matthew (Juan Antonio) Liam. Visitation will be held on Thursday, April 8, 2021, from 5 p.m., until 9 p.m., with the recitation of the holy rosary to be recited at 7 p.m., at Thomae-Garza Funeral Home. Mass will be held Friday, April 9, at 10 a.m., at Our Lady Star of the Sea Catholic Church, 705 S. Longoria St., Port Isabel, Texas, with burial to follow at the Port Isabel City Cemetery.
