Apolonio Adames, Jr. 64, passed away in Harlingen on March 18, 2021. He was born in Lubbock, TX to Eulogia and Apolonio Adames. Apolonio was free spirited and in addition to singing, he loved to listen to music “oldies”, take long walks, and fish. He is preceded in death by his brother David Arturo and sisters: Olga and Amalia. Left to cherish his memory are his children Cindy Adames, Veronica Adames, Aplononio Adames III, Angelica Adames, Vicente Adames, siblings: Rufino, Eliseo, Jesse, Dionicio, Daniel, Virginia, Maricela, Maria, Dolores, Janie, grandchildren: Lupita Adames, Anna Orozco, Dominique Garcia, Fermin Garcia, Iris Huey, Myra Huey, Jocelyn, Sophie, Monica Adames, Sally Magallon, Angela Magallon, Lizbeth Solario, Isabel Martinez, Cruz Martinez, Enrique Adames, Athina Adames, Anthony Adames,and great grandchild: Zaylyn Leal. A memorial service will be held in his honor at a later date.
