Jose Dario Garcia Jr., 61, of Baytown, Texas, passed away on March 26, 2021 in Los Fresnos, Texas. Jr. was born in Brownsville, Texas to Maria Del Carmen and Jose Dario Garcia Sr. on October 25, 1959. He went to high school in Los Fresnos and graduated in 1978. He was young and ambitious and moved to Baytown, Texas in 1978 where he met his wife Ester Rodriguez. He worked as a Process Operator and had a wonderful career until he retired after 36 years of service. He enjoyed working on classic cars and being with his friends and family. Jr. is survived by his mother, Maria Del Carmen, wife, Ester Garcia, daughters, Amanda Garcia and Christina Garcia, siblings, Cira Lugo, Diego Garcia and Esmeralda Garcia, nieces, Catherine Lugo and Alyssa Garcia, nephews Diego Garcia Jr., Christopher Lugo, and Michael Garcia. He is preceded in death by his father, Jose Dario Garcia Sr. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, March 30, 2021 from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with a Rosary at 7:00 p.m. at Thomae-Garza Funeral Home in San Benito, Texas with a cremation to follow.
