Elvira Trevino, joined the Kingdom of Heaven on Tuesday, March 23, 2021, while surrounded by her loved ones.
Elvira was born in San Benito, TX, to Jose Amado Trevino and Hilda Acosta Trevino. Her hobbies included cooking, baking, reading, and gardening. For over 30 years, she had a successful career in banking and finances. She held a branch manager’s position for many years.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Jose Amado and Hilda Acosta Trevino.
Left to cherish her memory are her children, Smiley Amado (Cara) Garcia and Katherine Yvette (Adam) Cartwright; three grandchildren, Nadia Lizette Cartwright, Trent Dake Garcia and Joseph Austin Cartwright; her siblings, Ruben (Helen) Trevino, Lonnie (Norma) Trevino, Mary Ann Silva and many other relatives.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 27, 2021, from 6 p.m., until 9 p.m., with the recitation of the holy rosary to begin at 7 p.m., at Thomae-Garza Funeral Home. All services will conclude on Saturday evening.
Due to the ongoing COVID-19 virus, all individuals are encouraged to follow CDC guidelines by socially distancing a minimum space of 6 feet apart and must wear face covers or masks.
