Harlingen - "Mr. B", Donaciano "Chano" Bautista was called to his eternal rest with our Lord on Sunday, April 8, 2007. He is preceded in death by his parents Juan and Atanacia Bautista, his brother Rito Bautista, Silveria Bautista, Pima Torres and Santos Mesa. He is survived by his loving wife of 25 years Margarita Covio Bautista, his daughter Olga (Ernesto) Rodriguez, two step daughters: Terri Hernandez and Maggie Salinas; his grandchildren: Melissa (Raoul) Ysasi, Ernie (Ana) Rodriguez, Michael Scott (Leah) Rodriguez, step grandchildren; David Salinas and Anna Salinas and four great grandchildren. He is also survived by his siblings; Berta Medellin, Flaviano Bautista, Esquiel Bautista and Feliciana Bautista. Visitation will be held on Tuesday April 10, 2007 from 12:00 noon to 9:00 P.M. with a Holy Rosary to be recited at 7:00 P.M. Visitation will resume on Wednesday April 11, 2007 at 8:00 A.M. and procession will start at 9:30 A.M for the 10:00 A.M. Funeral Mass to be held at Queen of Peace Catholic Church in Harlingen. Interment will follow to Mont Meta Memorial Park in San Benito. Pallbearers will be David Salinas, Carlos R. Rivera, Ernie Rodriguez, Michael Scott Rodriguez, Ernesto Rodriguez and Leonel Zamora.
