Grady Edward Goetz, 63, passed away 2/19/2021. Grady was born in Seguin, TX to Edward “Ed” Linne Goetz and Elethia Lanelle “Nell” Hancock. After moving to Louisiana for a couple of years, his family settled in Houston, TX. His family spent many summer vacations in South Padre Island, TX and that is where Grady lived over the last 30 years. He loved the easy pace of the island and being near the water to surf, fish and just enjoy the sound of the waves. He will always be remembered as the man with a heart as big as Texas and he will be dearly missed by many. Grady was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his siblings Greg (and Celia) Goetz, Paula (and J.) Walter, Gretchen (and David) Reynolds and Gina (and Tony) Cipolla as well as many nieces and nephews. There will be a private family celebration of Grady’s life at a later date, but you are encouraged to gather together, raise a glass and share a memory of Grady.
