Obituary of Bruno Alcala Sr.

Bruno Alcala Sr., 91, of Rio Hondo, Texas, entered into rest on June 22, 2012.
He is preceded in death by his son, Saul Alcala.
He is survived by his children: Bruno Alcala Jr., Jose Maria Alcala, Richard Alcala, Matilde Alcala Cerda, and Sam Alcala. He is also survived by 17 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Monday, June 25, 2012 from 2:00 pm to 9:00 pm, with a prayer service at 7:00 pm, at Thomae-Garza Funeral Home in San Benito.
Chapel service will be held on Tuesday, June 26, 2012 at 1:00 pm at Thomae-Garza Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Rio Hondo Community Cemetery.
Serving as pallbearers will be ; Bruno Alcala Jr., Rey "Ramon" Alcala, Henry "Chicken" Flores, Michael Corona, Daniel Rodriguez and Juan Soto.
