On the afternoon of February 21, 2021, Pablo A. Martinez, of San Benito, TX, went with the Lord at 24 years old. Pablo Martinez was born to Javier and Myrna Martinez in 1996 in Harlingen, TX. He graduated from Rio Hondo High School and departed to Fort Benning to begin his career in the U.S. Army National Guard. He is preceded in death by is grandparents, David and Concepcion Martinez and Eleazar Escamilla. Also preceding is his brother, Ricardo J. Martinez, his aunts, Concepcion Martinez, Guadalupe Martinez, and an uncle, Pablo Martinez He is survived by his loving parents Javier and Myrna Martinez, sisters, Karen(David)Perez, Janie Martinez(Mari Fuentes), his girlfriend Samantha Arredondo, along with his pets Simba and Indy. Pablo was always a helping hand you could always rely on him for anything. He loved his family and friends so deeply. He could make anyone laugh and smile. He always lived life to the fullest. We will cherish all of our memories with you. You will be greatly missed. Visitation will be held on Tuesday March 2, 2021 from 5pm-9pm with a recitation of the Holy Rosary to be held at 7pm. Military Honors will be held at 6:30 pm before the rosary. Services will conclude at the end of the evening. Due to current restrictions, this establishment will follow the 25% occupancy limit and all persons shall institute social distancing of a minimum space of 6 feet apart.
