Brownsville, Texas - Thomas Jeffery Lopez, "T.J.", 26 years of age, passed away on October 5, 2007 on South Padre Island, Texas. T.J. was a graduate of The University of Texas at Brownsville with a Bachelor's Degree in Science and Psychology. He was the Assistant Retail Manager at the Beach Club Store at Sunchase Mall on South Padre Island, Texas. He is survived by: Mother, Rosa C. Lopez - Brownsville, Texas; Father, Tomas D. (Sonia) Lopez - Alvin, Texas; Sister, Belinda Garcia (Gabriel Vanounou) of S.Padre Island, TX; 1/2 Sisters: Tammy Gonzalez - Sebastian, Texas; Susie Cabrera - Sebastian, Texas; Rosalinda Lopez - Lyford, Texas and numerous aunts, uncles, and other relatives. There will be visitation on Tuesday, October 9, 2007 from 2:00 p.m. - 3:30 p.m. at the International Christian Center located at 2855 Paredes Line Rd. Funeral service will begin at 3:30 p.m. and interment will follow to Rose Lawn Memorial Gardens. The family would like to invite friends and all family members for a gathering at Suntide Condominiums on the beachside behind building #3 following the interment.
