Obituary of Exsiquia Mancha
Please share a memory of Exsiquia to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Exsiquia Mancha, age 71, went into eternal rest Tuesday, February 16th, 2021 peacefully in her sleep.
Exsiquia was born in Brownsville, Texas but was a long-term resident of Los Fresnos, Texas. Exsiquia was an amazing, well-known educator at Resaca Middle School for 22 years where she helped manufacture different programs that improved the lives of students like the HOST program. In her free time she enjoyed many activities like dancing, making food, doing crosswords, reading, and above all else spending time with her family. Her favorite thing to do was play games with her grandchildren like “Ring Around the Rosie’s” and “London Bridge” to make them laugh and smile. Family was her pride and joy. Many remember her as always having food or always making food. She had the best recipes. She was also an excellent storyteller and had the funniest jokes.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Manuel Mancha and Aurora Buitron; her husband Pedro Loera; her daughter Esiquia (Tiki) Garza; her son David Loera; her granddaughter Jocelynn .
She is survived by her children, Tony (Norma) Garza, Victor Garza, Aurora Mancha, Cynthia Mancha, Reymundo Jorge Loera, Norma (Pete) Gonzalez, and Peter (Celia) Loera; her grandchildren, Randy, Lauren, Tracey, Samantha, Justine, Addie, Peter, Brandon, Joshua, Angela, Kevin, Megan, Alyssa, Victoria, Evelynn, Emmanuel, and Jacquelynn.
We find comfort knowing she is dancing and singing with her husband and with all her memories. She will live on in lives and hearts of everyone she touched.
