Obituary of Jessica Jazmin Alonso
Please share a memory of Jessica to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Jessica Jazmin Alonso 47, born in Brownsville, Texas and raised in San Benito, Texas was called away to Heaven on 2/7/2021.
She was preceded by her parents, Samuel and Juanita Alonso.
She is survived by her brother, Samuel D. Alonso; nephews and nieces, Samuel D Alonso, Javen J. Alonso, Rita S. Alonso, Lilly E. Alonso, Madyson Perez, and Josiah Perez. She saw them as her own children.
She worked with children for many years loving each one of them like her own. She would always go above and beyond her position at work to make sure that the children from home, daycare, church were always happy. She was a member of Iglesia Manantial de Agua Viva for many years. She would assist in everything and always said, “ Prayer is the key.” She was loved and cherished by so many.
She will be greatly missed by her best friends Gloria Rodriguez, Sarah Rodriguez and Dalia Rodriguez. Every Sunday she would take her nephews and nieces to church and out to eat afterwards. They miss those Sundays.
She is survived by the Alonso and Ortega Families that is over 100 people on both sides. She loved unconditionally, without expecting anything in return. She protected those she loved and did not even know if she needed to. She was an angel in her family's eyes here on earth and now she is home in heaven with her parents watching over us. She wanted her brother to know she loved him, her nephews and nieces to know she loved them and was so proud of them and to always look for God. You were a sister to me. I love you. Rest in peace now.
