Obituary of Samuel A. Alonso
Please share a memory of Samuel to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Samuel A. Alonso, 76, was born in Valle Hermoso, Tamaulipas and was called away to Heaven on February 3, 2021, with his son by his side.
He was proceeded by his wife, Juanita Alonso, his parents Samuel Alonso, Tomasita Anguiano Alonso, and his brother Ruben Alonso.
He was married to his wife, Juanita Alonso in 1972, where they lived with their family in San Benito, Texas for 48 years. He was the father of two wonderful children, Jessica Alonso and Samuel David Alonso.
He is survived by his son, Samuel David Alonso, his grandkids, Samuel D. Alonso Jr., Javen J. Alonso, Rita S. Alonso, Lilly E. Alonso, Madyson Perez, and Josiah Perez.
He is surpassed by his brothers and sisters, Armando Alonso, Esther Alonso, Lydia Mireles, Norma Garza and Efrain Alonso, Elizabeth Fuentes, and Olivia Mireles and many more family that loved him so much. They would come over every Saturday to have a meal and spend the day with him. He looked forward to his Saturdays with them. Full of laughter, conversation, memories and cook outs. My kids would call them the Tia Sisters. He was so proud of his grandkids and wanted them to know how much he loves them.
He was a genuine good-hearted man. He was loved by everyone that met him. He was a man of few words but when he spoke, he educated all that were listening with his sermons, stories, and advice at home or with family and friends. He acquired an Associates in Private Accounting at the Academy Carmen Macias and his Metal Chemist at Monterrey Technology University where he also worked to pay for his way through school. Later in life he also studied the bible. He loved to learn new things, write poetry, fishing and when he was younger hiking.
