Ethan Thomas "Red" Hausler, age 16, escorted by St. Michael, joined the heavenly angels on Monday, June 11, 2012. Ethan was a student at San Benito High School and had a deep love of music. He played the guitar and harmonica as a member of "The Outcomes". Ethan was a sensitive and loving child who felt the pains and injustices of the world. He lived simply and what he did not need he gave away, always thinking of others. Ethan will be greatly missed by his family and many friends. Ethan is survived by his Parents, Scott and Tammy Hausler, his brothers, Scotty and Patrick, and his sisters Cailin and Gretchen. Also surviving are Grandparents, Jim and Thora Hausler, Lyndle and Myela Echols, and Fred and Virginia Smith. Surviving Aunts are Barbie Echols Gunter, Debbie (Bobby) Parrish, and Sandy Hausler. His cousins include Nicholas Wieder, Todd (Alicia), Stephen Jr., Tyler, and Barbie Rae Gunter, Heather (Luis) Trevino, and Holly and Benjamin Parrish. A very special thanks is given to the community of St. Anthony's Catholic Church, the Rangerville Church of Christ, and Larry and Wanda Echols. Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 14, 2012 from 2:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. The family will be receiving friends from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., and a holy rosary will follow at Thomae-Garza Funeral Home in San Benito, Texas. Mass of Resurrection will take place at St. Anthony's Catholic Church in Harlingen, Texas on Friday, June 15, 2012 at 10:00 a.m., with committal service to follow at Mont Meta Memorial Park in San Benito.
