Eloy L. Lopez, 83, of Lozano, Texas, passed away on January 14, 2021, at his residence surrounded by his loving family, after a long hard battle with cancer. Mr. Lopez was a dedicated and responsible husband and father. He will be sorely missed by the family he loved so much. He was preceded in death by his parents, Bruno and Teresa Lopez; siblings, Seferino Lopez, Julian Lopez, Maria Saenz and Leonor Tamez; and by a granddaughter, Izabella Belen Jefferies Lopez. Left to cherish his memory is his loving wife of 65 years, Frances V. Lopez; daughter, Lilia Lopez (David) Crane; sons, Leonel V. (Diana Jefferies) Lopez and Eloy (Rosalinda) Lopez, Jr.; and 2 grandchildren, Reilly Jefferies Lopez and Madison Frances Crane. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 20, 2021, from 5 p.m., until 9 p.m., with the recitation of the holy rosary to begin at 7 p.m., at Thomae-Garza Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m., Thursday, January 21, at St. Vincent De Paul Mission, 2513, E. Brown Tract Rd, Lozano, TX 78568 with cremation to follow. Due to current COVID restrictions, this establishment will follow the 25% occupancy, limit and all persons shall institute social distancing of a minimum space of 6 feet apart.
